What to do when you need a faster website without spending a lot of money on cloud or server hosting?
A lot of businesses fell prey to low cost hosting of Godaddy and other service providers.
Once they are trapped then, variety of options are being shown
like these
Invariably one needs to go and select these options and they land up paying something which is 3X of what was actually offered.
Even after that hosting gives you a lot of tension, a lot of times server shuts down and you always have to raise a ticket for getting it up again.
Whenever you go to gtmetrix you may find extremelly disappointing results depending upon whether you have made it on your own or by professionals.
Enough of this problem blabber… what’s the solution?
Its very simple… Use Cloudflare
How to use cloudflare?
Step 1:- Create an account on https://dash.cloudflare.com/login
Step 2:- Add your Site
Check and see whether your Cname records are being passed through cloudflare or not.
If the cloud is grey then, the cname is not passed, you must pass the cname by making the cloud ornage
Step 4:- Just Log into your go-daddy account and and replace the name servers with custom name servers
Please be aware name servers here would be completly different from one available in your account.
Step 5:- Optimization, Go to speed tools on your dashboard and Auto minfy the websites CSS, HTML and Jscript.
Step 6:- Once you go through this you need to purge your cache which you may find on the dashboard.
